Finance/Administrative Assistant – Cork – Permanent
Our client is looking for a flexible and adaptable Office Administrator with a positive attitude to play a central role in a fast-paced commercial environment. The job requires a natural communicator, comfortable working phone and email, a person with a courteous and polite phone and writing manner. This role entails general administrative work along with some financial aspects such as processing purchasing orders.
Responsibilities:
- Providing administrative support to site teams.
- Cover phone answering and general reception of visitors
- Answer and forward phone calls.
- Contribute to the efficiency of the Accounting/Admin team by participating in cross training, sharing job responsibilities, and serving as position backup for other team members
- Coordinate meeting rooms, courier services, etc.
- Providing ad-hoc administrative support as delegated by other team members/departments.
- Upload purchase invoices to company system weekly
- Report payments received and made weekly to MD and GM.
- Execute Purchases.
- Maintain Company Details file.
Requirements
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and willingness to take ownership for wide-ranging responsibilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility to accommodate different situations and temperaments
- Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging environment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc)
- Good organization and prioritization skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
