Financial Accountant – Shannon, Co. Clare

 

Immediate Start Required

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead, prepare and review monthly financial statements in accordance with IFRS
  • Assist in the preparation of related financial analytics on quarterly basis
  • Assist in preparation of Statutory Accounts in accordance with local GAAP
  • Work with external auditors in completion of corporate and statutory audit
  • Processing the necessary adjustments between IFRS and Local GAAP in agreed format
  • Preparation of required data for Tax Advisor, review and approval of Corporation tax and deferred tax asset/liability.
  • Ensure VAT returns are made on a timely basis
  • Presentation of final accounts for approval
  • Assistance in the preparation and filing of statistical returns.
  • Supervise and review General Ledger accountants’ work
  • Mentor junior accountants to ensure growth and development in line with company values
  • Working with corporate finance team, assist in the review design and implementation of financial processes in compliance with Corporate policies and controls
  • Proactively collaborate across multifunctional teams to create an environment that strives for global consistency of best practices
  • Review, implement and improve existing controls

Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant
  • 2 Years PQE
  • Strong controls and compliance experience
