General Operator

CREGG Recruitment are currently hiring a General Operator for our client, a Packaging company in Ennis, Clare. 

This is a full time role, Monday- Thursday, day shift. Weekly work week is 39 hours. 

Responsibilities:

  • Picking/ Packing product
  • Ensure work area is kept clean and tidy
  • Loading/ unloading packaging machines
  • Labelling boxes
  • Meeting daily targets
  • Ensuring standards and procedures as per company policy is always followed
  • Sweeping/ cleaning working area
  • Other adhoc duties as they arise

Person Specification

  • Previous general operative exp within warehouse/ manufacturing facility beneficial
  • Knowledge of good manufacturing practices
  • Manual Handling certificate beneficial

This position is on a fixed term contract for initially 3 months
