HR Specialist – Clare (Hybrid)

Purpose:

The purpose of the HR Specialist is to support the HR team and the business to generate, analyse and present employee related data across functional areas on key Human Resources activities, to deliver meaningful analysis and reporting to the business’s clients and Senior Management Team and helping to determine talent gaps, progress, and activity plans. A significant focus of the role will also be in the management, development and promotion of Compensation and Benefits plans and programs. 

Responsibilities:

  • System expert – Act as SME of the Cornerstone Talent Management portal, producing and/or updating dashboards, tasks and relevant reporting.
  • Project member to assist in the implementation of the Talent Management portal modules (as relevant), including undertaking UAT.
  • Leverage existing modules to simplify and automate HR processes.
  • Assist in the ongoing review, with relevant features and functionality updates and
  • automations of existing modules in use.
  • 100% accuracy of data input to HR Systems (including new hires to internal movers, performance, probation status to termination updates); and relevant data management tools.
  • Validate data and conduct thorough data analysis to identify and communicate to HR
  • and Business Leaders opportunities, threats, and best practice to drive continuous
  • performance improvement.
  • Understand and be able to articulate how data is created, its relevance and significance, as well as an assessment of data to produce findings/recommendations.
  • Security roles and Permissions – create/update appropriate groupings of permissions access / restricted access assigned to users.
  • Undertaking periodic compensation benchmarking.
  • Developing and implementing new, compensation and benefits programs, policies, and procedure – ensuring all programs, policies, and procedures comply with current legislation.
  • Manage relationship with benefit providers including health insurance and pension.
  • Engage with outsourced benefit providers to provide administration support, including renewal of policies and work with Payroll Specialist to audit memberships and vendor enquiries.
  • Back up/support to Payroll Specialist in collecting and accurately recording Employee PHI Claims and Benefit application forms and processes and refer to appropriate providers. 

Requirements:

  • Qualification in Human Resources
  • Qualification in the finance field desirable but not essential
  • Experience with Cornerstone or similar HR system
  • Significant experience implementing, promoting, and managing benefits and compensation programs, policies, procedures, desirable
  • Previous experience within Financial Services would be an advantage
