IT Site Engineer – Clare

Key Responsibilities
- Provide full technical support for laptops, smartphones, and other devices as necessary.
- Provide Tier 1 technical support to users at the company site, troubleshooting common IT issues and escalating issues to the appropriate level if necessary. (file and print problems, hardware issues, network connectivity problems, and software errors).
- Log, analyze, prioritize, and solve IT incidents and customer queries through the IT Ticketing System.
- Provide technical support for on-site manufacturing equipment, security systems, network switches, security appliances, and access points.
- Assist Senior Engineer in supporting IT Requirements in Manufacturing Systems, Labs Systems.
- Ensure new devices and applications are recorded in the inventory of IT equipment assets register, and the register is kept up-to-date.
- Manage and coordinate device builds and automated or manual rollout of applications to client devices.
- Manage and resolve issues on Conference Systems, Print Systems, and Phone Systems.
- Assist with the facilities department from an IT perspective in relation to CCTV and Access Control.
- Provide Tier 1 level support for VPN, LAN, and WAN connectivity; SAN and VMWare virtual infrastructure; DNS, DHCP, Active Directory.
- Coordinate with IT Site team to document local or global IT policies and procedures.
- Assist with installation, configuration, management, and documentation of Site Networks (Wired and wireless).
- Ensue that own work complies with GMP, Data Integrity, and Good Documentation Practice (GDP) and is undertaken in accordance with applicable procedures.
Key Requirements
- Firm Microsoft Systems (AD, LDAP etc) background or experience (1-2 years).
- Networking Systems Administration knowledge (1-2 years).
- Preferred experience with hybrid Azure/on-prem file server, and AD configuration.
- Organizational and project planning skills.
- Excellent relationship-building skills, with a “can-do” attitude.
- Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to confidently converse with people and translate technical information for end-users.
- An enthusiastic, self-motivated, and flexible individual who is capable to work independently and unsupervised.
