Maintenance Fitter

MAINTENANCE FITTER – Permanent – Listowel, Co Kerry

This position will suit someone mechanically minded that has strong people & communication skills!

Ongoing training, development & support is a big focus for this company!

In its cleanroom facility, the company performs silicone and injection moulding as well as automated assembly, with production lines operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The company is an ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 accredited company.

A maintenance Fitter is required to join our maintenance team in the maintenance and repair of all production machines and ancillary equipment, including Arburg and automated assembly machines.

Work will also include various installations, troubleshooting faults on mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and performing preventative maintenance. The candidate must be a qualified mechanical fitter/ Instrumentation craftsperson and possess a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a factory environment and have exposure to pneumatics and hydraulics. Experience in injection moulding and automated assembly would be a distinct advantage
