The Role: Reporting to the SHEQ & Technical Officer, the chosen candidate will be based at our clients processing facility in Rathcoole, Co. Dublin and will have the responsibilities specified below The team at our clients processing facility is small but welcoming and enthusiastic and it would be important that the chosen candidate contribute to that team ethic. It is anticipated that the chosen candidate will initially focus on carrying out Quality-related responsibilities to enhance our competitivity in demanding markets and that s/he will take on additional responsibilities in Safety and Compliance at a later date.

• Quality control on raw materials and products
Technical
• Supporting the introduction of new products and processes
• Supporting the optimisation of processes
Desired Qualifications
• Chemistry including analytical techniques
• Quality Assurance
Essential Skills and Experience
Personal
• Work ethic and time-management skills to set and meet short- and long-term goals in a multi-tasking environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication and inter-personal skills
o A key aspect of this role is liaising with a wide variety of people, including colleagues (on and off-site), customers and suppliers
• Effective in a team but equally capable of working on your own initiative
• Analytical in describing problems and their causes and creative in devising solutions
Technical
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Quality role in a chemical / pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
• Competent in the use of Microsoft Office to analyse, summarise and present information
Desirable Skills and Experience
• Experience in chemical analysis
• Familiarity with relevant regulations, standards and practices in Quality, Safety and Compliance
• Experienced in carrying out Quality audits.
• Full Clean drivers liscense.
