About the job: Working for a manufacuturing company, you will be responsible for repairs / troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical assemblies within the manufacturing operation. As a Lead Operator the role will involve troubleshooting PCB boards.
This role would be suitable someone with an electricial or technicial background who worked on PCB Boards. Experience with Schematics (desired). Must have an electronic qualification and who have troubleshooted to compoment level.
Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 8-4.30pm and Friday 8-3.30pm (Training purposes)
When fully trained there will be a split shift of 3 days of 12 hours shift. Mon to Wed 8am-8pm for 4 weeks and then Thursday to Saturday 8am to 8pm for 4 weeks.
Salary: Excellent salary.
Principle Accountabilities:
- Troubleshoots and repairs complex mechanical and electrical assemblies used in equipment to the component level.
- Reworks on Pcb boards
- Assists with the installation, debugging, and validation of process equipment.
- Provides technical assistance and guidance to other technical personnel.
- Works with engineering on functionality issues and procedure updates.
- Provides training when necessary to the new build and service assembler in the area.
- Contributes to the development of work instructions, batch records, equipment logs, material specifications and other device history documents.
- Operates electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes and special tests as required.
